Summer Reading Program

Summer Reading kicks off the week of June 22nd with many events for the whole family!  Youths can pick up a bag of Summer Reading materials, along with other goodies (while supplies last).

Patrons of all ages (both youths and adults) can join in Summer Reading.

How the program works:

  • Stop by the circulation desk for a program bookmark. You will use your bookmark to track your reading progress throughout the summer.

  • Read a book! Read three! Or, read up to ten! It doesn’t matter how many -- we want to celebrate all of your wins!

  • Write the title(s) of the books you read on the bookmark and turn it in. You can turn in a bookmark each week.  Remember to take a new bookmark, after turning in the previous one.

  • Youths can pick something from the prize bucket every time they turn in a bookmark (no matter how many books have been read.)

  • Each week, there will be a drawing for one youth and one adult to win a prize.  Names will be drawn from the bookmarks submitted during the week.

  • The last day to turn in bookmarks is Monday, August 3rd.
